EU Implements Directive for Micropollutant Removal in Wastewater

As of January 1, 2025, the European Union has enacted Directive (EU) 2024/3019, mandating the removal of a significant proportion of micropollutants from wastewater. This directive requires member states to adapt their national legislation by July 31, 2027, to meet new environmental standards.
